Each of the articles on this site portray him in generally a negative light, whether it be his debate appearance or lack of political activism in recent years. They point out that the political scene has changed since 1995 when he was last in active campaign. I agree that he will have to adjust his style of campaigning from a down south country boy to a more respectable national leader with legitimate views and stands on issues. Following the unpopularity of George Bush, Thompson will no longer be able to rely on the appeal of a Southern boy campaigning from the back of a red pick-up truck. I am interested in seeing how he chooses to carry-out a modern plan of campaigning while dealing with his dominating competitors like Giuliani.

This is an interesting clip that shows off Fred Thompson’s personality. When he denied the show of hands, he was backed up by the other candidates and even the audience. He refused the show of hands because he believed the question was to complex for a yes or no answer. We think this reveals his independent views, and shows that he can stand up for what he believes in. He seems to be very straightforward in his politics and in his life.

This is just one poll, which may not be super reliable, which shows that since Fred Thompson dropped out, some of his former-supporters have been turning to Romney.
For me personally, after Duncan Hunter dropped out I supported Fred. Now that Fred’s dropped out, I’m turning to Mitt Romney.
